Last night I got another Brazilian blow dry. Some of you may remember I’ve written about this treatment before. It has saved me so much time and ultimately has made my hair grow since I’m not putting direct heat on it everyday.  I even got my mom to get one last night and she hasn’t stopped talking about it since.

I cannot recommend this treatment enough, it’s the best thing I’ve done in a while.

For those of you who are interested in trying out this amazing treatment, call the Andy LeCompte Salon at (310) 273-4100 and ask for Liz.

  1. your hair looks amazing, what exactly is the process?

  2. Hi Nicole, the Brazilian Blow Dry is really amazing but here in Brazil they do it with FORMOL in the formula and it’s not safe to do it while you are pregnant so be sure that they don’t use it on your hair now, ok?

  3. Need this treatment! Liz, I’m coming! ; )

  4. Nicole…please share what your daily routine is like now that you’ve gotten this treatment. Are you able to just air dry after washing your hair? If yes, how does your hair look? Or do you have to do a little product or styling?
I’m a new mom too and I am desperately trying to get out of HAVING TO blowdry my hair after I wash it…
Your the best! Thanks for sharing your stylist with us! I booked an appointment to see her in the next week or so! SO excited!

  5. Hey ! I got the Brazilian blow dry and I LOVE it. Thanks for posting about it.
I wanted to know if you have extensions. I have shoulder length hair and I was
Thinking about getting extension but I didn’t know if you can continue to get the
the Brazilian blow dry with them in?

Also what is the brand name of the color that is safe to use when you’re pregnant?

    Thanks!

  6. Thank you so much for sharing Liz with us! I saw her yesterday and she was amazingly nice and the BBD results were literally jaw-dropping! It used to take me 40 minutes to blow dry and it took her 10 minutes with NO BRUSH! Stunned…amazed…thanks so much!

  7. Does anyone know the difference between a regular perm/relaxer and a Brazilian blow dry?

    Thanx!

  8. I love your hair but i don’t know if the Brazilian blow dry its in Chile u.u

  9. Oh my gosh, this is the best thing to hit the hair world yet! My stylist, Darci, in San Diego, who does my extensions does the Brazilian Blowout and has been trying to convince me to do it forever. I finally broke down and gave it a chance. WHAT WAS I WAITING FOR??? I’m in love! See ya later “bad hair days”!

  10. Love this!! Just got the Brazilian Blowout treatment last week from Melissa at Capelli Lounge in Westwood. Melissa said that my highlighted (well, over highlighted!) and damaged hair was perfect for this process and sure enough it came out great. Supposedly this treatment should last for four to six months but since I’m a swimmer it might be less. Either way, I’ll definitely do it again!

  11. looks good, to bad it causes cancer (from the other thread). I just got my hair relaxed. Its staying strong so far.
